Community Credit Union is required by law annually to notify Members, over the age of 16, of the details about its Annual General Meeting (AGM). Traditionally we have delivered this notification to you by post.
In keeping with the credit union ethos and the increased world focus on the health of our environment, carbon footprint and sustainability, we would like to change the way we deliver this notification to you to an e-communication. This means that, instead of receiving it by post, you would receive it by e-mail. Such a change will achieve two major goals for Community Credit Union and for you the Member. The benefits of the proposed change will be to:
- lower the annual print and postage costs for the credit union, and
- reduce the carbon footprint and overall waste of the credit union and save some trees from destruction annually.
