Become a Member

Here at Community Credit Union we always put our members first!

We provide a range of quality services for our members and we always give back to our local Community.

We have offices in West Cabra, Blanchardstown Centre & Rowlagh with friendly and helpful staff ready to help you with any of our range of services.

We also offer a full Online Banking service which gives our members full access to their Credit Union accounts 24/7.

 

Eligibilty

You must either live or work in the common bond, Live in the same household as a family member who is a current member, or be an employee of Ordnance Survey Ireland.

Common Bond

Community Credit Union's Common Bond is Dublin 7 and Dublin 15. Proudly serving the common bond since 1962.

Documents Required

Valid Photo ID (Passport, Driver's License). Proof of Address (we can only accept a bank statement, utility bill or letter from Revenue) PPS Number.

Upload your ID document e.g.
- Valid Passport
- Valid Driver’s Licence.

Take a snapshot of yourself, by clicking the Capture ID Snapshot button in the membership form. This should be a “selfie”, passport-style photo, with only you in the image.

Please Note: name(s) and photograph on snapshot and ID must match applicant

Please Note: We cannot accept PPS Cards/Public Service Cards as ID

Upload your Proof of Address documents (Must be dated within last 6 months)

- Recent Utility Bill
- Recent Bank Statement
- Recent Government Issued Documentation

Upload your proof of PPSN e.g.
- Payslip
- Any Revenue / Government issued Document

Please Note: Due to legislation, we cannot accept PPS Cards/Public Service Cards as ID

Exceptions:

Married people who do not have evidence of address in their own name, evidence of address in their spouse’s name is acceptable but MUST be accompanied by a Marriage Certificate.

Children Under 12 – Children under 12 may use a Birth Certificate as evidence of identity. To support this membership application a parent/guardian must also provide evidence of their own name, date of birth and address. This is irrespective of whether the parent/guardian is already a member of the credit union.

Where an individual cannot produce the above documents, please speak to one of our staff and we can discuss possible alternative documents you may be able to provide so that we can proceed with your membership application.

Choosing Your Nomination

Members of Community Credit Union can nominate someone to receive up to a maximum value of €27,000 on the event of their death.

All members 16 and over must nominate someone when they join Community Credit Union. We advise all members to review their nomination and update us of any changes they wish to make.

Your nomination and the savings associated are separate to your will and estate and are not affected by the terms of your will.

How to Join Community Credit Union Online

Once you have become a member of Community Credit Union, you can register for online access. This will allow you to manage your Credit Union account from the web or through the Community Credit Union app on your smart device.

  • Click register
  • Enter your details and Member Number
  • Create your Username and Password
  • Wait for a PIN via SMS
  • Login to your online account!
